DATA // CONTROL
PRIVACY POLICY
This policy explains in clear terms how Sentinela processes personal data on the V2 website. The final wording and legal basis will undergo legal review before production publication.
01 // CONTROLLER AND CONTACT
The controller is the Sentinela project. Privacy questions and data-subject requests may be sent to info@sentinela.network.
02 // CONTACT REQUESTS
We process name, contact details, organisation, country, area of interest and message solely to receive, assess and respond to an enquiry initiated by the user.
The basis proposed for legal review is legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Where the request concerns pre-contractual steps requested by the data subject, Article 6(1)(b) may apply. Acknowledging this policy is not consent to marketing.
03 // NEWSLETTER AND ANALYTICS
The newsletter is separate from the contact form and requires optional, explicit, unticked consent under Article 6(1)(a). Consent may be withdrawn at any time.
Audience measurement starts only after acceptance. It uses random identifiers transformed with HMAC, aggregate data and an approximate country supplied by Cloudflare infrastructure; it does not publish IP addresses, individual locations or visitor identifiers.
04 // RETENTION AND RECIPIENTS
Contact requests are retained for up to 24 months unless a legal need or earlier deletion applies. Raw analytics events are retained for 90 days; aggregates may be retained for up to 760 days. Newsletter records remain until unsubscribe or justified deletion.
Data is handled only by providers needed to operate and secure the service, under appropriate contractual safeguards. We do not sell personal data.
05 // YOUR RIGHTS
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability where applicable, and complain to the competent supervisory authority. Requests are proportionately verified to protect the data subject.
